Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Equipment Operator to join our team. As an Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for operating a variety of heavy equipment, including excavators, backhoes, Caterpillar machinery, dump trucks, and other heavy equipment. Your expertise in equipment operation will be essential in ensuring the successful completion of construction and excavation projects.

Responsibilities:

- Operate and maintain various types of heavy equipment safely and efficiently

- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment

- Follow project plans and specifications to complete tasks accurately and efficiently

- Excavate and grade land surfaces using excavators and backhoes

- Load and unload materials using lifting equipment

- Transport materials or equipment to designated locations using dump trucks or roll-off trucks

- Operate concrete mixers to pour and distribute concrete for construction projects

- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean work environment

Qualifications:

- Proven experience as an Equipment Operator.

- Proficiency in operating a variety of heavy equipment, including cranes, bulldozers, backhoes, Caterpillar machinery, dump trucks, concrete mixers, tankers, roll-off trucks, etc.

- Strong knowledge of safe operating procedures for heavy equipment

- Ability to read and interpret project plans and specifications

- Excellent hand-eye coordination and physical dexterity

- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Pay: $40.00 - $50.00 per hour
